New Year's 2007

We spent New Year's at Mom and Dad's as we do every year. It was special because my brother Ben and his family came along with the usual gang of my sister Rosa and her family as well as Ruby and hers. The children had fun harvesting oranges. Mom cooked a great dinner as usual.

The first picture is of the whole family except Daniel was missing. We missed you Daniel! The second picture is of Benjamin I, II, and III.

Good Bear Hunting - December 2006

These are the antlers from a Fallow buck shot in Edwards County Texas. This deer was taken with a 40 year-old JC Higgins 30.30 rifle that Joe's father purchased from Sears Roebuck. Brad was very happy to take his first deer with Joe's father's rifle.

Acapulco - September 2005

We went to Acapulco as Hurricane Rita was entering the Gulf of Mexico. We spent very many days and nights worried to death about our families and property. After the worries were over, we started to enjoy ourselves and had a blast! We hope to make it back there again in company of all our good friends.

Maribel's Trip to El Carrizo, Coyame, Chihuahua

Mom and I took a week's trip to El Carrizo, Coyame, Chihuahua last November, 2006. I had not been in that area for about 13 years and had not spent some real quality time with the aunts and uncles. The first picture if of my Mom and Aunt Estela standing in the nearyby Aroyo (creek). As kids, this is the first place we would run to whenever we would visit.



The second picture is of the small town (El Carrizo) where my mother and my aunt grew up. Growing up, this is where I spent very many summers and Holidays. If I die and go to heaven, this is the place where I'll go. This is my most favorite place in the whole world.
